Adventures, Sports, Music, Arts, Workshops – The Münchner Ferienpass

Finally the long awaited summer holidays have started in Bavaria as well. It is therefore high time to introduce the Münchner Ferienpass – a school holiday passport for children aged 6 to 17, who want to spend their holiday in Munich and surroundings.

The Ferienpass is valid for all school holidays within 1 year, starting with the fall holidays end of October until the end of following summer break. That means the Ferienpass 2016/2017 is only valid during this summer holidays. The next Ferienpass will be available from October.

Nevertheless it is still worth buying one for the upcoming 6 weeks.

Lots of fun for little money

For children aged 6-14 the Ferienpass costs 14 Euro. This includes free use of public transport during the summer holidays. For teens aged 15-17 it costs 10 Euro.

2 Days Summer Camp

The Münchner Ferienpass offers many tips for exciting activities in and around Munich. It includes a voucher booklet with discounts and free tickets, for example free entrance to public outdoor pools or the zoo.

The Ferienpass also allows kids to participate in various day trips, classes and workshops, listed in an extensive program booklet. You just need to apply by e-mail or on the phone.

Something for every taste

It is up to you whether you use the Ferienpass just for reduced entrance fees , e.g. for Bavaria Filmstadt, Sea-Life Munich, circus or cinemas, or to join exciting guided tours through museums, television studios, the opera house or BMW factory.

Creative Workshops and Projects

Or you participate in a project and step into the shoes of a reporter, photographer or film director.

Always wanted to try out horse riding, juggling or Chinese calligraphy? This is your chance. You could also participate in one of the countless workshops for pottery, printing, comic drawing, cooking and so on.

How about a visit to Munich K-9 unit or a basketball training with the pro players? You’ll be spoilt for choice!
