The fourth week of the Oktoberfest 2015 set-up has started. For the 182nd time the world’s most famous beer festival in Munich is starting September 19th, 2015. The construction of the big tents, fairground attractions, smaller booths and stalls started already mid of July to be ready for the grand opening, the “Wiesn-Anstich” at the “Schottenhamel” tent.
Who is curious to see how the preparations are progressing can take a peak preview through the construction site fences at the Theresienwiese. It is quite spectacular to observe the raw stage of the set-up now and compare it to the busy and crowdy Oktoberfest once it opened its gates.

Also we can highly recommend to visit the “Oide Wiesn”, the “old” Oktoberfest, for a more traditional and authentic experience of the old days of the Oktoberfest. Especially for families with smaller children this is the perfect place to visit fun caroussels and attractions at a very good price, plus the tents tend to be less crowded.
